Home Staging & Real Estate Trendsetters

Trendsetters: Michele Cummins

From actress to first Realtor in the family. The career change came naturally to Michele Cummins with her prior
experience working for herself and running a business. Since starting her real estate company in 2003 she has
been given the Diamond Award with RE/MAX every year and became a Medallion Member of her board. She is a Certified Luxury Marketing Specialist and a Certified New Home Construction Specialist. Michele loves helping people
benefit in every way they can by “unlocking her client’s full real estate potential.” Along with running a successful Real
Estate company she also has the only real estate radio show in the Lower Mainland. “When you can buy, and find
the right place to buy, you should buy!” Michele advises. “Don’t try to time the market or hold off, you might just miss out on the home of your dreams.”

Canadian Home Trends: If you could have lunch with any one person in the world, who would you pick and why?

Michele Cummins: Elon Musk. He’s inspiring, smart, he takes action, he’s a dreamer who believes that dreams can come true if you actually do everything you can to make them happen, and he has a great mindset and outlook in life and that ‘can do’ attitude.

CHT: What is your favorite room in your house?

MC: I love all my rooms!! My home was used in a Hallmark movie called “The 27 Hour Day” about a Montana Bed and Breakfast. My bedroom has my soaker tub and a cool balcony with amazing views and my great room has such a cool vibe with logs and a rock wood burning fireplace with items hidden inside.

CHT: What is your favorite holiday memory or holiday tradition?

MC: Christmas with family and getting our Christmas jammies on Christmas Eve. Waking up early and getting into your stocking!
