It took some time for Summer to emerge from behind the curtains of clouds and wet weather, but now she is in full sweltering glow. Like a Diva who shows up late but never disappoints, Summer is finally ready for her close up and along with it, my dramatic & colourful terrace!

I decorate outside no different from the way I would inside. I like to borrow design cues from my interiors, like bold colour, scale, proportion, and interesting texture combinations and apply them out under the sun. Let me invite you to enjoy a private look at my very photogenic patio  featuring confident colour, exuberant flair and a little DIY attitude!

Sizzling BBQs

Weekends are perfect for juicy late afternoon BBQs. It’s that hot lazy time of the summer when all you want to do is come home, pour yourself something chill, and fire up the grill. I love patios that are filled with memories of sharing great food with even greater friends.

This means that any outdoor space should pay great homage to the BBQ focal point of any space. So it was only natural that I chose the latest Weber Genesis grill to fully pimp out my garden pad. Weber BBQs are legendary in quality – they don’t rattle when you shake them and most important, they are one of the very few grills that actually look absolutely stunning after many years of use. I had a choice of several colours but stuck with a classic stainless steel and black that Weber is famous for and that could fit into any décor and look seriously sizzling even when it is turned off!
